Ruport 1.2 Released
The guys at rubyreports.org just released Ruport 1.2: http://rubyreports.org/release_notes-1.2.html
In case you haven’t heard of it, Ruport is a simple, extensible reporting system built for Rubyists.
New Features
There are a few cool new features with this release to make things more flexible:
- Data::Feeder allows for custom transformations and filters on data
- Grouping#sigma added (Thanks Dave Nelson)
- Formatter::PDF#draw_text! will draw text at an absolute position, ignoring margins
- Formatter::Template provides a simple templating system for renderer options
Read the changes in detail before updating as some things, particularly some of the API stuff has broken in the new release.
