Back from RailsConf Europe in Berlin
Back in Holland, RailsConf was quite the experience. I’ve been saying for years now how I needed to get to RailsConf and I’m finally glad I was able to because it was great!
I was a bit exhausted at the end of the 3 day conf but I suppose a lot of that was just the non-stop networking, brainstorming, drinking and then the days filled with 12+ hours of sessions. Superb. I even had the pleasure to playing with an iPhone and enjoying some dunkin donuts.
There is nothing by being around hundreds of brilliant, smart people and seeing what everyone else is working on. It seemed anyone I talked to was working on some new kick ass project or new start but hey, I expected that.
Berlin itself is a great city (from what I saw), I really didn’t get to travel around as much as I wanted. I guess I’ll have to make another trip back just to discover a bit
I’ll write up a small review of the city in a bit, for now check out my RailsConf and Berlin pictures
