Better Rails Documentation
One of the main things I’ve always thought held back Rails (well not really), is a really good Doc system (interpret really good as you will). Not that it is horrible, I just think it could be alot better.
For example, I’ve always found the php.net documentation to be REALLY easy to use, searchable and helpful. Not to mention all the downloadable local versions you can have right on your computer.
I know I’m not alone and I’ve found this site: http://rails.outertrack.com/ that I think is moving in the right direction is in my opinion much better than the original docs. These are user commentable as well, which I find invaluable.
