Being productive while working at home…

Being it that I work from home, I am always trying to find ways to be productive. I can’t say that I have the BEST work environment ever or atleast to my standards but I make due. If I could I would have a seperate room (perhaps location, an office loft somewhere?), seperate work computers (with my laptop at home) and a bunch of upgraded tech toys to help.
As I find many freelancers/developers strive to find more tips as well, the same was asked over at to-done.com. With some great tips from all over yet another fine list was compiled and it has some really great suggestions, most of which I incorporate myself. Check it out:

So everything is still going great and it has now been about a week since I got back from the conference. It has been really easy actually, I’ve learned so much!
I have about 70% of my notes typed up and I’ve been cooking some of the recipies I’ve learned all week. For the last 7 days straight I’ve cooked dinner and its been great, cooking is my new favorite hobby. Not just that, but kizzy is eating it too and we both find it delicious. From sweet & sour noodles to deep fried seitan, from stir fried rice to ramen boulion broth, from apple kuzu to miso veggie soup.
Nother cool thing is I baked my first macrobiotic cake ever! It turned out very nice and we ate it all up. I’ve been keeping quite active as well, waking up early to do stretching and running. It really wakes you up and gets the day started, I find I have so much more energy and clarity. Once you get into the routine of things its not hard at all, but its like that with anything. I’ll keep info posted as it comes along of course.

After short crash and a few mishaps I’ve gotten things back and running. A few posts were deleted but nothing huge. I was THIS close to having to everything all over again. So kids, don’t forget your backups!

Extra Second Will be Added to 2005

An extra second will be added to 2005 to make up for the slowing down of the Earth’s rotation. I wonder if it will affect the operating systems calendars eventually
Interesting tidbit I would say, though time is relative indeed…
